Annette O'Toole was raised in Houston Texas in the dance studio of her mother. When she was just 2 she made her first appearance on television when she was a kid in the Don Mahoney Show for Kids. After ten years in dancing and singing with her mom and sister, she headed to L.A. to try and determine if a show-business career was possible. In less than two months, she landed her first work: dancing alongside Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. She says "I learned from my lessons to sing and dance in many different ways." It's a discipline-building experience that comes from this is great for an actor." The first time she acted was in My Three Sons. This was followed with Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. as well as Hawaii Five-O. In the past, she's been in over 40 episodes Despite all the success in film and television the one thing she loves most is the theater. Following her stint of six years in Smallville, O'Toole decided to focus on theater and acting, which she'd been doing over the last decade. Her first audition at New York led her to get the role of The Sea Gull. She's appeared in a variety of off Broadway productions such as Adam Rapp's "Kindness", Tracy Letts Man from Nebraska and Tennessee Williams A Lovely Sunday for Creve Couer.
